Jn 20:22 NASB. And when He had said this, He breathed on them and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit.

 

Receive. Get, take, lay hold of.

 

Lk 24:49 NASB. And behold, I am sending the promise of My Father upon you; but you are to stay in the city until you are clothed with power from on high.”

 

Endued/Clothed.  Clothed with (in the sense of sinking into a garment).

 

Acts 1:5 NASB. …for John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.”

 

Baptized. Dipped or submerged.

 

Acts 1:8 NASB. but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and Samaria, and as far as the remotest part of the earth.”

 

Come upon. Arrive, come on, come upon, attack.

 

Acts 2:4 NASB. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with different tongues, as the Spirit was giving them the ability to speak out.

 

Filled. Supply, complete, furnish.
