Stay Out of Other People's Matters
Proverbs 26:17 Easy-to-Read Version. To step between two people arguing is as foolish as going out into the street and grabbing a stray dog by the ears.

I'll Be 50 This Year!
Hey family! I can’t believe it; I’ll be 50 on May 2nd! SAVE THE DATE for our “Apostolic Elevation/50th Birthday Celebration.” YOU are invited! Our Presiding Bishop & Chief Apostle, Bishop J. Drew Sheard is the guest speaker. Our family has survived a devastating tragedy (losing our precious Rachel LaNora) & we are coming together to lift up & honor the Name of the LORD! Details are forthcoming; but the main detail is to bring a praise! #TeamCOGIC #LCIC #MMEJ #IveGotWorkToDo #EveryTimeITurnAroundGodIsBlessingMe #NeverForgetRachelLHankerson #COGIC

Support Others
I recently viewed a service online. The pastor’s wife exhorted during the service. The associate elder never moved. The pastor got up and exhorted. The associate elder never moved. Then the associate elder got up to preach. He wanted the house to go up in praise. God is always worthy of praise. But it looks bad for a person to be disengaged the entire event; then exuberant when it is their time on program. I have tried to make it a practice to get with everyone (that has the right spirit – smile) in a worship experience.
Philippians 2:3-5 New Living Translation.
3 Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. 4 Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too.

You Cannot Share Everything That God Shows You
It has been said that prophecy is a “vocal gift.”
However, I have learned by experience that God does not always intend for you
to vocalize everything that He shows you. Not even to say “I saw it ahead of
time,” or, “I told you so.” He may show you some terrible and dreadful things
to come. But it is for you to pray and follow His instructions. Everything is
not to be shared.
John 16:12 Easy-to-Read Version. 12 “I
have so much more to tell you, but it is too much for you to accept now.
John 16:12 Easy-to-Read Version. 12 “I
have so much more to tell you, but it is too much for you to accept now.
2 Corinthians 12:3-4 Easy-to-Read Version. 3-4 And I know that this man was taken up to paradise. I don’t know if he was in his body or away from his body, but he heard things that he is not able to explain. He heard things that no one is allowed to tell.

Ask For Wisdom
🛑1 Kings 3:10 ERV, “The Lord was happy that Solomon asked for wisdom.” 🛑James 1:5 ERV “Do any of you need wisdom? Ask God for it. He is generous and enjoys giving to everyone. So he will give you wisdom.” #IveGotWorkToDo

Invest In Pastoral Training And Education
JUST AN IDEA: With such changing/treacherous times we are in, I encourage churches to invest in additional training/education for your pastor. Presenting birthdays, Pastoral anniversaries, appreciations, cars, suits, shoes etc., are fine in themselves (I am not talking against that). But, when you invest in furthering the (accredited & professional) education/training of a pastor (whether it is a class, workshop, or even a full-fledged degree), it raises the level of excellence, productivity, fruitfulness & relevance of your local ministry. AND, it sets a standard/culture, where church members are encouraged not to settle for mediocrity and status quo (for their own life). These are challenging times; but also times filled with great opportunity for effective ministry. Yes, we MUST be anointed, but we must also have skill, training, information & be equipped to function in that anointing.
“The man who knows how will always have a job. The man who knows why will always be his boss.” ―Ralph Waldo Emerson
“The beginning of wisdom is: Get [skillful and godly] wisdom [it is preeminent]! And with all your acquiring, get understanding [actively seek spiritual discernment, mature comprehension, and logical interpretation].” - Proverbs 4:7 Amplified
